IODAI Connaught Championships 2010
Already half way through their season, and having visited North Tipperary a couple of months ago as part of the trials series, the Optimist fleet returned to Dromineer for the Connaught Championships. Taking only the smallest geographic liberties most racing happened out in the middle of the lake (on the provincial boundary) and light airs were the order of the day under grey overcast skies. The 150-odd competitors didn't seem too concerned though and took it all in their stride.
