Rationel Dragon National Championships 2008

As the minds of most Irish sailors were focussed on the waters off Cork Harbour it left Dublin Bay virtually deserted for the cream of the country's Dragon Fleet to gather for a very tightly fought National Championships. Although only a relatively small entry it was certainly a case of qulaity over quantity. Those competing made the most of the testing conditions and a fresh breeze to enjoy some amazingly tight racing over 2 mile long windward leeward courses, with places right the way down the fleet hotly contested.
