Despite a favourable forecast, the best breeze turned up at the wrong time of the day from the wrong direction and this left too little water depth for safe racing. Where Monday had been conspicuous in the absense of anyone even trying to get afloat the conditions today did prove too hard to resist for a few who took to the water to practise and play.
