Tuesday again threatened rain early on, and was quite miserable as everyone launched, but again the weather improved as the day progressed. While the senior fleets were getting the second championship race underway out in the middle of the lake the youth classes spent the morning on a passage race around Dromineer Bay. In the afternoon then things were reversed with the Oppies and Mirrors sailing triangles off the club while the Shannon One Designs and Laser Radials toured the lake racing for the Belle Isle Plate.
