Laser Masters Championships 2010

The Laser is favoured the world over for it simplicity and versitility, and although the stereotypical image may be of young guys and girls with gruelling training regimes the class is raced incredibly competitively by sailors of all ages. As well as racing in the normal class events and regionals throughout the season the 'Masters' also gather for their own national championships and the 2010 event was hosted by the National Yacht Club. With a major cruiser event being hosted next door it meant Dublin Bay was a very crowded place for the weekend, but with fabulous weather and a reliable breeze the course was able to tuck into Scotsmans Bay for two days of good racing in the sunshine.
