WIORA West Coast Championships 2010

With a number of high profile and highly successful events in 2009 the west coast enjoyed it's moment in the spotlight, but things haven't just shutdown until the next Volvo Ocean Race! The kean sailors of WIORA gathered in Kilrush for their annual race week, sailing on the Shannon Estuary under the watch of the Scattery Island Monastery. The conditions were far from benign, but even the liquid sunshine was warm, and it made for some challenging racing in all classes.
