Irish Optimist National and Open Championships 2013

With the Optimist Europeans coming to Dun Laoghaire next year the IODAI National Championships have taken on a distinctly international flavour as young sailors from across the continent and even the USA have joined the large national fleet on Dublin Bay. The weather will also add to the mix with a very varied weekend predicted, from light winds and sunshine to a gale warning set to test the top young single-handed sailors in the country.
