Fireball Class 50 Year Reunion
To mark fifty years of the Fireball Class in Ireland a reunion brought together over two hundred sailors in the Royal St George Yacht Club, with a spread right through the generations! The fact that some former Fireballers had not met for decades meant many old friendships were rekindled, with adventures retold and absent friends remembered. There was also a fantastic array of memorabilia on show and a slideshow of photographs running right back to the early fireball days in Sutton Dinghy Club where Roy Dixon first introduced the boat to these waters.
