Fairies

The historic Fairy Class originally numbered 12 boats on Lough Erne, built as one lot in 1905/1906 for members of the Enniskillen Yacht Club. Unfortuneatly a number have been lost or sold away over the intervening centuary, but a dedicated group has mobilised in recent years to return the fleet to it's former glory with old hulls being gradually restored and even one brand new boat under construction. The five below are already back in action, with a further two due to be relaunched in 2007, and they really are a sight of rare beauty gliding across the lake under their traditional gunter rig.
