Mitsubishi RStGYC Youth Regatta 2007
The 2007 Mitsubishi Junior Regatta was an event which held great promise ahead of the first competitors arriving, but will sadly be remembered as much for the media-circus that resulted as for all the fun had by competitors on and off the water. Our photographer Gareth was on the water to capture the event, and as part of the safety boat compliment that so successfully swung into action when the wind got up, but as the images below show that conditions earlier were anything but threatening less than an hour before racing was abandoned.
