Day 1 [Monday]
If day one is anything to go by, it’ll be five days of nip-and-tuck racing in Dun Laoghaire! The 137-boat fleet was split in two today for three races on each course, with tight corners and packed roundings the order of the day. Twelve knots and blistering sunshine greeted the racers as they exited Dun Laoghaire harbour and veered left and right to the two courses. With the consistent northerly wind oscillating through an arc of 20 degrees, things got underway without delay.
