J24 National Championships 2010

Howth Yacht Club completed their hattrick of keelboat championships with a visit from the J24 class, many of whom are far more likely these days to be found racing on our inland lakes. The chance to get some early practise in for the European Championships (which come to Howth in September 2011) proved irresistable for a fleet of seventeen boats from all across the country, and they weren't disappointed with a series of incredibly close racing over the two days. The weather too served up a lovely range of conditions too suiting both competitive sailors and the photographer alike!
