LDYC Freshwater Keelboat Regatta 2014
Having started as a Dragon end-of-season event to give the salty boats a good fresh-water rinse the Keelboat Inland Championships in Lough Derg Yacht Club have grown considerably to now attract five classes (Dragons, Flying Fifteens, J24s, SB20s, and Squibs) and a considerable crowd. The club house is well appointed against late-autumnal weather, and the race just a short distance from the quay can provide good racing in conditions where coastal waters would be far too treacherous.
